This week I:
- held my March City Library surgery, where I discusssed some of the issues affecting Quayside residents, including dangerous cycling, dilapidated bus stops and noise and rubbish created by bars and clubs
- had final discussions with the other ward councillors about allocating this year’s ward budget – it’s only £10000 per year and it’s important that we benefit as many people in the ward as possible
- withdrew my objection to the Blue Lagoon on Grainger Street after receiving assurances that it will operate primarily as a restaurant not a takeaway
- continued supporting residents with ongoing housing, asb and fly-tipping issues
- reported the rubbish that is accumulating in the new containers that have been put into the city centre (I understand they are to be used as planters)
