I’ll be posting weekly updates on my work in the ward.

This week:

• I attended a residents’ group meeting to discuss their concerns about some planned maintenance
• reported flytipping off Westmorland Road;
• asked the parking team for an update on the city centre permit scheme (I’ll share the answer on this site when I get it);
• helped a business with a query about Clean Air Zone grants
• Asked questions about some of the current licensing applications in Monument

I also attended a briefing for councillors on some proposed changes to the way council is run. I think change is needed but I don’t think the proposals are good for residents and I will not be supporting them.
